I have a love-hate relationship with Summer. You know, allergies and all that jazz. But I do love setting some summer goals for a happier summertime!!
When you know what kind of summer goals you want to set out, this post will give you a ton of ideas for the perfect summer season. 😊
I love goal setting because I am such a goal-orientated person! I mean, I plan every single thing about my life (even if things don’t work out as planned haha).
Here are some summer goals for the perfect season ahead!
1. Learn a new skill or take up a new hobby
I love learning new things and enjoy new hobbies to do (and I know you do too).
The perfect summer goals to better yourself is when you take up a new skill, advance your career or take up a new hobby to enjoy!
I mean, there are a whole lot of new hobbies to try out and fall in love with this summer. It could be blogging, starting an Instagram, knitting, cooking and so much more.
2. Journal daily to keep track of how you feel
I don’t do this right now, but I do want to start!
It’s great for your mental health and for transforming negative emotions into positive ones. I write for this blog which is a form of journalling, and I absolutely love it to the bone, lol haha!
I do recommend journalling in the morning and before going to bed. Write a few lines or so, joy down some affirmations and moments that made you proud! It rarely takes time! Trust me on this 😊
3. Have a daily self-care plan!
Yes, I mean daily!!!
These are fun summer goals to do, because the weather is great you really get to enjoy your self-care routine a little bit more lol.
Your self-care routine doesn’t have to take hours (I mean, we rarely have the time right). You can self-care for even 5 minutes. Take a nice shower and exfoliate, dry brush before showering, put on a face mask or use some hair oil.
You don’t have to go overboard (that’s when it becomes dreadful lol). You can start off small and really enjoy doing that and then move on to having a full-on pampering routine!!! 😊
4. Take up some seasonal goals
One of my seasonal goals is to get more outdoors and eat fresh produce in summer. I love strawberries, blueberries and anything summer related haha.
It’s such a small summer goal to do, but one worth the while. Making this summer season a healthier version of yourself!!
5. Make a memory box or scrapbook
I have been doing this now since last year (I still have to add in all the amazing memories I’ve done over the past months lol)! It is even the perfect thing to start doing as a summer goals with friends ideas!
In my scrapbook, I print out all of my pictures on Polaroids and add in all of the cards I make and memories I have been a part of. I also add in some cute notes and journal about my emotions for that specific time. It’s a wonderful little hobby to cultivate in summer – because you’ll be making memories left, right and centre haha!
I really want to pass it down to my children (cringe I know lol) and show them what I got up to when I was young and free haha!!!!
6. Read and read some more
I am a big advocate of reading books that enlighten you. Right now, I am reading a lot of self-help books, and trust me, it has truly changed the way I think, act and behave.
I’m more positive tbh.
Reading books should definitely be on your summer bucket list because of how productive it can make your summer routine and totally transform your life.

7. Utilize the warm weather to workout more
I’m not a gym fanatic, but in these coming months, I do want to go to the gym more. I have it all planned out lol (my type-A and obsessive planning disorder haha).
Start swimming, learn a new exercise routine, or take up pilates or yoga to calm the mind. Practice meditation and start a balanced and nutritious diet for a healthy lifestyle change! Get up and get all of those summer body goals in right now 😊.
If you love the outdoors, then go for a walk or hike.
I have allergies in the summer, so I will be exercising in the gym and swimming (because water calms my overthinking mind lol)!

8. Cook food you love
I’m not an avid cooker (I don’t really even know how to cook, except for my omelettes haha). The best summer goals to have this summer is to cook the food you absolutely love.
In summer I love fresh fruits and delicious pasta or pizza (anything and everything lol – and all spicy 😊). Also, this could actually be one of your summer fitness goals to work on, eating healthy and working out more – indoor or outdoor, whatever you prefer!!!
9. Have a digital detox
This one I really love doing this one. Now and then, when I get overwhelmed with (life) everything, I tend to not use my phone or any social media app. These are perfect productive summer goals that you can do easily.
It’s perfect for your mental health and you can focus on so much more than Instagram. I mean you can plan out your month, be more present in the current moment and enjoy going out and dining with your friends.

10. Spend extra time with your partner or loved ones
Now, I am probably going to be single forever lol. But I love those couples that really focus on each other and aren’t always using their phones or doing anything else except being in the moment.
Some really cute summer couple goals ideas that you can do is go for a picnic this season, cook together, watch a movie or if you both love the gym, do some kind of physical activity (minus the ones you do most nights lol)!!
And for the single people out there (like me), you could plan a summer trip with your family and friends and send them some cute summer fruit baskets as a token of appreciation. A perfect idea for a perfect season. Am I right?
